Devanahalli is a town municipal council under the Bangalore rural district in Karnataka. The area is 40km towards the north east of Bangalore. The area has gained much prominence in the recent past for being the site of the International Airport, which is s second largest airport. The Business Park is coming up near the airport. It is slated to cover 400 acres of land and house two IT parks within. Devanahalli also has a science park, a financial city and an aerospace park coming up. Devanahalli is also the birthplace of Tipu Sultan.

The Kempegowda International Airport is around 5 km towards the south of Devanahalli. It can be reached from here by going southwards along the NH7. It takes around an hour to reach the heart of Bangalore. The city railway station is 37.3km away along the Road and NH7.
